
Home Sprinkler Systems Co. is a proud family-owned and operated business with deep roots in the St. Louis and St. Charles areas. For over 30 years, we have dedicated ourselves to providing exceptional residential lawn irrigation and landscape lighting services to our valued customers.
Shannon took over the operations for Howard in 2020 in hopes to continue building the company her dad worked hard to establish in 1989. Starting with just a small number of customers, we have grown to over 700 customers. Howard developed great relationships with all his customers throughout the years and worked hard to meet their irrigation needs. It's because of his attitude that we still service customers that have been here since the very beginning.
We are a faith-based company that puts our strength in the Lord everyday. We commit our time and energy to providing the best possible service in lawn irrigation repair and installation. We strive to have an energetic, educated, and kind attitude towards all of our customers. Our goal is to produce a quality product, maintain a respectable and trusting relationship with our customers, and provide absolute satisfaction so our client relationships last forever.
Howard Miller started Home Sprinkler in 1989 with a vision to be an entrepreneur. He loved working on his personal landscape full of roses and started learning how watering could be a more efficient process. Howard retired in 2020 after his daughter and son-in-law purchased the company.
Shannon Kohn, Howard's daughter, purchased the company in 2020 with her husband, Stanley. She currently manages all of the daily operations. Shannon worked previously at Verizon for 17 years in finance and in project management.
Stanley Kohn, is the CFO bringing over 20 years experience in leading finance teams in large corporations and small family-owned businesses.
Steven Elliott is our Senior Technician and Job Foreman starting his 15th year with us. He has extensive knowledge of irrigation systems, plumbing, design & installation. He designs & installs landscape lighting and drainage systems. He is also our resident mechanic. He is certified in the State of Missouri to test & repair backflow devices, and has his journeymen's license in St. Louis County.
Tyler Kennedy is one of our Service Technicians and is starting his 2nd season with Home Sprinkler. He brought with him 5 years of previous irrigation experience and is certified in the State of Missouri to test & repair backflow devices. He also has his journeymen's license in St. Louis County.
Adam Weigel is entering his 3rd year as our part-time service technician. He has several years of experience in the irrigation industry and is certified in the State of Missouri to test and repair backflow devices.
Individual pricing for irrigation maintenance services
Includes turning on the irrigation water valve, pressurizing the mainline and backflow device, walking through each zone, setting the controller for the season, checking operation of heads, adjusting heads & ensuring they cover the area properly. This is for systems up to 10 zones.
The backflow test includes testing the backflow device by a certified technician and submitting the test to the local water purveyor.
The water purveyor fee is included. **Additional 5 zones is $10

Includes turning on the irrigation water valve, pressurizing line up to the backflow device only, testing the backflow device by a certified technician. Shutting off the irrigation water valve and draining back the pressurized line. The test is submitted to the local water purveyor.
